The metal "0" frame is vintage (from the early 1900's according to my research) so there is definitely age appropriate patina that makes the piece that much more interesting

Although I loved them, I hadn't made more after that first batch. This round frame is the same shape as those brooch pieces I used to make but it was fun to give it this brand new twist with the vintage frame and painted background too. I stitched the center in my favorite French Knots in one of my favorite colorways to work
